2. Delete the cat sprite.

6. Click the "scripts" tab and add these scripts ..

Note that the broadcast "start titles" will start our cut-scene animation. When it has finished the player will click another sprite ("click text") to begin the game.

7. Use "File>Save as" to save your game. Name it "Dawn cut scene".

8. We now need to add the scripts to create our animations. Each animation sprite plays a role in the animation. The primary animation script blocks we will use are ..

The animations are simple but happen at specific times. Let's begin to add the scripts ..

9. Add these scripts to "night" ..

Note how this sprite starts fully showing (ghost effect 0) and then slowly becomes transparent (ghost effect 100).

10. Add these scripts to "tree right 1" ..

11. Add these scripts to "tree right 2" ..

Note that when the sun has fully risen, a broadcast is sent ("show click to start") which is received by the "click text" sprite which then appears.

16. Add these scripts to "sun rays 1" ..

17. Add these scripts to "sun rays 2" ..

18. Use File>Save to re-save your game.

19. Add these scripts to "bird 1" ..

Note how this bird will fly from left to right.

20. Add these scripts to "bird 2" (you can copy the "bird 1" scripts and edit them) ..

Note how this bird will fly from right to left.

21. Add these scripts to "click text" ..

22. You've finished, well done! Re-save your game and then press the "B" key, or click the green flag, to watch the cut-scene animation.
