Running this coming Summer half term, this course involves learning a new games making technique designed to inspire and entertain the students. Together we create a complete game and then individually students are encouraged to make a game of their own design, inspired by what they have learnt.

For 9-11 yrs. Maximum 12 students
Four 2 hour sessions. 10am - 12midday each day
May - Mon 27th, Tue 28th, Thur 30th, & Fri 31st

NOTE: Your child must have already attended a free Taster/trial session or after school club to attend this course.

Age range & SEN

This course is suitable for any 9-11 year old child who has some experience of Scratch or has a keen interest in learning coding. Is your child ready?

Activity content

Gov.UK logoOur courses cover attainment targets from the new National Computing Curriculum.

This fun activity involves creating games using applications such as Scratch, Pixelmator and Garageband. Students are taught creative coding techniques, and are then encouraged to put into practice what they have learnt.

Subjects taught include interactive animation, image design, music production, character and object control, and coding concepts such as event handlers, control statements, operators, properties and functions.

Teaching content is tailored to challenge and improve each learner's existing skills and knowledge. Learners are continually assessed to establish the level they are working at and to stretch them.


Our activities are accredited with Pixel Gang Certificates. To earn a certificate learners must complete certificate tasks.
